Uses and Benefits of PRUVICT 1MG TABLET (PRUCALOPRIDE 1MG)

Prucalopride is mainly used for the treatment of chronic constipation in adults who have not had enough relief from other laxatives.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Long-term (chronic) constipation that does not respond well to regular laxatives
• Improving the frequency and ease of bowel movements
• Reducing symptoms like straining, hard stools, and a feeling of incomplete emptying

HOW IT WORKS

• It stimulates specific receptors in the gut wall
• This increases the natural movement (motility) of the bowel
• It helps stool pass through the intestines more easily and regularly

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used for sudden or short-term constipation caused by diet or travel

How to Use PRUVICT 1MG TABLET (PRUCALOPRIDE 1MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day
• It can be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
• Try to take it at the same time every day to maintain steady effect
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the medicine in its original pack until it is time to take it
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack
