WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Control and prevention of certain types of seizures (fits)
• Treatment of panic disorder

HOW IT WORKS

• It enhances the effect of a natural calming chemical in the brain called GABA

How to Use RIVOTRIL 2MG TABLET (CLONAZEPAM 2MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the dose and frequency advised
• It can be taken with or without food, but be consistent with your routine
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not chew or crush unless your doctor says so
• Do not stop taking it suddenly, especially if you have used it for a long time, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms or seizures
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose
• If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
• If you miss doses often, speak to your doctor about a reminder plan
