Uses and Benefits of ROSAVE EZ-10 Tablets (Rosuvastatin 10mg + Ezetimibe 10mg)

This combination medicine is mainly used to treat high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) and to reduce the risk of heart-related problems caused by high cholesterol levels.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Lowering high levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol
• Lowering total cholesterol and triglycerides
• Increasing HDL (good) cholesterol
• Reducing risk of heart attack and stroke in people with high cholesterol or heart disease risk

HOW IT WORKS

• Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver that makes cholesterol, lowering the amount produced
• Ezetimibe reduces the absorption of cholesterol from food in the intestine
• Together they lower cholesterol more effectively than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat, or difficulty breathing
• Signs of pancreatitis such as severe stomach pain radiating to the back

How to Use ROSAVE EZ-10 Tablets (Rosuvastatin 10mg + Ezetimibe 10mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Can be taken with or without food, at the same time each day
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Continue taking it even if you feel well, as cholesterol control needs regular use
• Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
