WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

- Signs of gallbladder problems such as yellowing of skin or eyes
- Vision changes
- Signs of kidney problems such as reduced urination or swelling in legs

How to Use SEMASIZE .25&.05MG P (Semaglutide 1.34mg/ml)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous), usually once a week, as prescribed by your doctor
- Can be taken with or without food
- Injection sites include the stomach area, thigh, or upper arm; rotate the site each time
- Do not inject into a vein or muscle
- Follow the injection technique shown by your doctor or nurse carefully
- Try to inject on the same day each week for consistency
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as possible if it has been less than a few days, as advised by your doctor
- If too much time has passed before the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue on your regular schedule
- Do not take two doses close together to make up for a missed one
- Contact your doctor if you are unsure what to do
STORAGE
- Store in a refrigerator, away from direct freezing
- Once in use, may be kept as directed on the pack, away from heat and sunlight
- Keep the pen or vial cap on when not in use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use if the liquid appears cloudy, discoloured, or contains particles

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to semaglutide or any of its ingredients
- Have a personal or family history of certain thyroid cancers (medullary thyroid carcinoma)
- Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2
- Are pregnant or planning pregnancy
- Are breastfeeding
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Have a history of pancreatitis
- Have gallbladder disease
- Have kidney or liver problems
- Have diabetic eye disease (retinopathy)
- Are taking insulin or other diabetes medicines
- Have a history of severe digestive disorders
MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT
- Insulin and sulfonylureas (risk of low blood sugar increases)
- Other diabetes medicines
- Oral medicines that require fast stomach emptying to work well
- Blood thinners, such as warfarin, may need closer monitoring
