This composition is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, especially when diet, exercise, and a single medicine are not enough to control blood sugar levels.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes
- Used along with diet and exercise for better blood sugar control
- Sometimes used when a single anti-diabetic medicine does not work well enough
HOW IT WORKS
- Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin
- Metformin reduces sugar production in the liver and improves how the body uses insulin
- Voglibose slows down the breakdown of carbohydrates in the gut, reducing sugar spikes after meals
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for type 1 diabetes
- Not used for diabetic ketoacidosis (a medical emergency)
- Not a treatment for weight loss on its own
- Not meant for occasional or as-needed use

- Dark urine or unusual bruising/bleeding

How to Use T-VOBIT 2 TABLET (GLIMEPRIDE 2MG + METFORMIN 500MG + VOGLIBOSE 0.2MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the first bite of your main meals
- Do not skip meals after taking this medicine, as it can cause low blood sugar
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as diabetes needs long-term control
- Do not change the dose or stop without consulting your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember with your next meal
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to glimepiride, metformin, voglibose, or similar medicines
- Have type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis
- Have severe kidney or liver disease
- Have severe infection, dehydration, or are about to undergo surgery or a contrast X-ray procedure
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Have kidney, liver, or heart problems
- Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
- Have a history of low blood sugar episodes
- Drink alcohol regularly
- Are elderly or have any digestive disorders
MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT
- Other diabetes medicines or insulin
- Steroids
- Blood thinners like warfarin
- Certain blood pressure or water tablets (diuretics)
- Alcohol, which can increase risk of low blood sugar or lactic acidosis
