This combination is prescribed for painful muscle spasm associated with musculoskeletal disorders like acute low back pain, neck pain, sprains and other painful conditions where muscles are tight and inflamed.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Acute low back pain with muscle spasm
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Sprains, strains and sports injuries
- Painful muscular spasm following injury or overuse
HOW IT WORKS
- Aceclofenac blocks chemicals in the body that cause pain, swelling and inflammation
- Thiocolchicoside acts on the muscles and nerves to relax tightened muscles and relieve spasm
- Together they reduce pain, stiffness and swelling faster than either alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not for chronic long-term daily pain relief without doctor supervision
- Not a treatment for infections or fever alone
- Not for headache or migraine unless specifically advised
- Not a substitute for physiotherapy or rest in injury recovery

How to Use THIOSPAS A 4MG TABLET (ACECLOFENAC 100 MG + THIOCOLCHICOSIDE 4 MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice a day
- Take after food to reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Use for the shortest duration needed, generally not more than a few days, as directed by your doctor
- Do not increase the dose or frequency on your own
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight
- Keep in a dry place, away from moisture
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
