This medicine is used to treat bacterial infections affecting different parts of the body.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Respiratory tract infections like sinusitis, bronchitis and pneumonia
- Ear, nose and throat infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Dental infections
- Infections after certain surgeries, as advised by the doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- Amoxycillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from building their cell wall
- Some bacteria produce an enzyme that destroys amoxycillin before it can work
- Clavulanic acid blocks this enzyme, allowing amoxycillin to remain effective
- Together they cover a broader range of bacteria than amoxycillin alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Viral infections such as common cold, flu or most sore throats
- Fungal infections
- As a general painkiller or fever reducer
- Without a doctor's prescription, even if symptoms seem similar to a past infection

How to Use TRESMOX CV CAPSULE 250 MG (AMOXYCILLIN 250 MG + CLAVULANIC ACID 125 MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the dose and frequency advised
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
- It can be taken with or without food, but taking it with a meal may reduce stomach upset
- Complete the full course even if you feel better before finishing it
- Do not stop the medicine early as this can lead to the infection coming back or antibiotic resistance
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat, light and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
- Discard any unused liquid suspension as advised on the label after reconstitution
