This medicine is mainly used to treat swelling, pain and inflammation that occurs after injuries, surgeries, or certain inflammatory conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Reducing swelling (oedema) after injury or surgery
- Helping faster healing of soft tissue injuries, sprains and bruises
- Reducing pain and inflammation following dental or minor surgical procedures
- Supportive treatment in wounds, fractures and ulcers to reduce swelling
HOW IT WORKS
- Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are enzymes that break down proteins involved in inflammation
- They help clear damaged tissue debris and excess fluid from the injured area
- This reduces swelling, bruising and pain, and may speed up recovery
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a painkiller on its own and does not replace prescribed pain medicines
- It is not used to treat infections
- It is not a treatment for chronic or long-standing joint disease
- It should not be used as a substitute for surgical treatment when needed

How to Use TRYPTRU TABLET (TRYPSIN CHYMOTRYPSIN (NA))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- Usually taken on an empty stomach, about 30-45 minutes before meals, unless your doctor tells you otherwise
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it
- Do not increase the dose or take it for longer than advised
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
- Keep the tablets in their original strip/container until ready to use
