WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Reducing swelling (oedema) after injury or surgery
• Helping faster healing of soft tissue injuries, sprains and bruises
• Reducing pain and inflammation following dental or minor surgical procedures
• Supportive treatment in wounds, fractures and ulcers to reduce swelling

HOW IT WORKS

• Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are enzymes that break down proteins involved in inflammation
• They help clear damaged tissue debris and excess fluid from the injured area
• This reduces swelling, bruising and pain, and may speed up recovery

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a painkiller on its own and does not replace prescribed pain medicines
• It is not used to treat infections
• It is not a treatment for chronic or long-standing joint disease

How to Use TRYPTRU TABLET (TRYPSIN CHYMOTRYPSIN (NA))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken on an empty stomach, about 30-45 minutes before meals, unless your doctor tells you otherwise
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it
• Do not increase the dose or take it for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Keep the tablets in their original strip/container until ready to use

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
