This medicine is used to control high blood pressure in adults.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Used when a single blood pressure medicine is not enough to control levels
- Helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems linked to high blood pressure
HOW IT WORKS
- Telmisartan blocks a hormone (angiotensin II) that tightens blood vessels, helping vessels relax
- Amlodipine blocks calcium entry into blood vessel walls, causing them to widen
- Together they lower blood pressure more effectively than either alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not a painkiller or fever medicine
- Not used for immediate emergency lowering of blood pressure
- Not meant for treating heart attack symptoms directly
- Not for use in pregnancy

How to Use WELTELMI-AM 80 Tablets (Weltelmi Am 80mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day
- Can be taken with or without food, at the same time each day
- Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as blood pressure control needs continued treatment
- Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
- Keep in original packaging until ready to use
