This combination medicine is mainly used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults who need more than one medicine to manage it.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Used when blood pressure is not controlled by a single medicine alone

HOW IT WORKS

- Amlodipine blocks calcium channels in blood vessel walls, reducing muscle tightening and easing blood flow
- Together they lower blood pressure more effectively than either medicine alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for treating sudden, severe (emergency) high blood pressure spikes
- Not a painkiller or fever medicine
- Not used to treat chest pain (angina) as a first-line treatment
- Not meant for children unless specifically advised by a specialist
