How to Use YURPEAK 7.5MG KWIKPEN (Tirzepatide 7.5mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It is given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm
• It is usually given once a week, on the same day each week
• Can be taken with or without food
• Rotate the injection site each time to avoid skin problems
• Do not inject into a vein or muscle
• Follow the injection technique shown by your doctor or pharmacist

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as possible if it has been less than 4 days since the missed dose
• If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next dose on the regular scheduled day
• Do not take two doses close together to make up for a missed one
• Contact your doctor if you are unsure what to do

STORAGE

• Store in a refrigerator, away from direct light
• Do not freeze; discard if it has been frozen
• Once in use, may be kept as advised on the pack, away from heat
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use if the liquid looks cloudy, discoloured, or has particles

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer
• Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2
• Are allergic to tirzepatide or any ingredient in the injection
• Are pregnant or planning pregnancy
• Are breastfeeding

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have a history of pancreatitis
• Have severe stomach or digestive problems
• Have diabetic eye disease (retinopathy)
• Have kidney or liver problems
