This combination medicine is mainly used to treat anxiety symptoms occurring along with depression, where quick relief of anxiety is needed while the antidepressant effect builds up over time.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of depression associated with significant anxiety
• Short-term relief of anxiety symptoms such as restlessness, nervousness and tension
• Helping improve sleep disturbed by anxiety or low mood

HOW IT WORKS

• Paroxetine increases the availability of serotonin in the brain, a chemical that helps regulate mood

• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)

How to Use ZAPTRA 12.5MG CAPSULE (Paroxetine 12.5mg + Clonazepam 0.5mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet with water; do not chew or crush unless advised
• Try to take it at the same time every day, commonly in the morning or evening as directed
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, as withdrawal effects can occur

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

• Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to paroxetine, clonazepam, or any other ingredient in the tablet

• Are taking or have recently taken MAO inhibitor medicines
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless specifically advised by your doctor
