This combination medicine is used to treat bacterial infections, especially of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, and certain sexually transmitted infections, where a combined broad-spectrum antibiotic action is required.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and sinusitis
• Urinary tract infections
• Typhoid fever
• Certain sexually transmitted infections
• Ear, nose and throat infections caused by susceptible bacteria

HOW IT WORKS

• Cefixime kills bacteria by stopping them from building their protective outer wall
• Azithromycin stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow and multiply
• Together they cover a wider range of bacteria and can act faster against some infections

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Viral infections like common cold, flu, or most sore throats
• Fungal infections
• General fever without a proven bacterial cause
• Should not be used as a self-prescribed general antibiotic

• Severe dizziness or fainting

How to Use ZIMNIC 200MG TABLET (CEFIXIME (200MG) + AZITHROMYCIN (500MG))

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily or as directed
• Can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Complete the full course even if you feel better after a few days
• Do not stop early as this can lead to antibiotic resistance
• Do not share this medicine with others or use leftover tablets for a new illness

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as scheduled
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
