HOW IT WORKS

• Cefpodoxime stops bacteria from building their protective cell wall, which kills them
• Clavulanic Acid blocks certain bacterial enzymes that would otherwise destroy cefpodoxime
• Together they widen the range of bacteria the medicine can treat and improve effectiveness

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Complete the full course even if you feel better, to prevent bacteria from becoming resistant
• Do not stop the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Discard any unused liquid suspension as per the label instructions after reconstitution
