Uses and Benefits of ZORYL 3 TABLET (GLIMEPIRIDE 3MG)
Glimepiride 3mg is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, usually along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other diabetes medicines.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling high blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
- Used along with proper diet and exercise plan
- May be combined with other diabetes medicines like metformin or insulin, if advised
HOW IT WORKS
- Stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin
- Insulin helps move sugar from blood into body cells for energy
- Helps lower blood glucose levels after meals and overall
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for type 1 diabetes
- Not used for diabetic ketoacidosis
- Not a treatment for weight loss
- Not used for sudden emergency high blood sugar situations

- Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
- Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips or throat, or difficulty breathing
- Unusual bleeding or bruising
- Severe skin reaction with blisters or peeling

How to Use ZORYL 3 TABLET (GLIMEPIRIDE 3MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
- Take with or just before the first main meal of the day
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not skip meals after taking this medicine, as it can cause low blood sugar
- Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well; do not stop without medical advice
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember with your next meal
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not take double dose to make up for the missed one
- If unsure, contact your doctor or pharmacist for guidance
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep in original packaging until ready to use
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Have type 1 diabetes
