This medicine is used to manage high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially when diet, exercise, and a single diabetes medicine are not enough to control sugar levels.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
- Used along with diet and exercise for better sugar control
- Given when a single diabetes medicine does not control sugar well enough
HOW IT WORKS
- Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin
- Metformin reduces sugar production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity
- Voglibose slows down carbohydrate absorption in the gut, reducing sugar spikes after meals
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for type 1 diabetes
- Not used for diabetic ketoacidosis
- Not used as an emergency treatment for very high blood sugar
- Not a substitute for insulin when insulin is specifically needed

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
- Severe low blood sugar with confusion, fainting, or seizures
- Signs of lactic acidosis such as unusual muscle pain, difficulty breathing, extreme tiredness, or fast heartbeat
- Yellowing of skin or eyes (liver problems)
- Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat
- Persistent vomiting or severe abdominal pain

How to Use ZORYL MV 1/0.3 TABLET (GLIMEPIRIDE 1MG + METFORMIN 500MG + VOGLIBOSE 0.3MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the first bite of a meal
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not skip meals after taking this medicine, as it can cause low blood sugar
- Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, unless your doctor says to stop
- Keep taking other diabetes lifestyle measures like diet and exercise as advised
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember with your meal
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep in the original strip or container until ready to use
- Keep out of reach of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to glimepiride, metformin, voglibose, or any sulfonylurea drug
- Have type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis
- Have severe kidney or liver disease
- Have severe infection, dehydration, or are undergoing major surgery
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding without doctor's approval
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Have any kidney, liver, or heart problems
- Are scheduled for surgery or an X-ray with contrast dye
- Drink alcohol regularly
- Have a history of low blood sugar episodes
- Are elderly or have poor nutrition
MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT
- Other diabetes medicines or insulin
- Steroids or diuretics (water pills)
