This medicine is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, usually along with diet control and exercise.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Controlling high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes
• Used when diet, exercise and a single diabetes medicine are not enough to control blood sugar
• Often given as an add-on therapy along with lifestyle changes

HOW IT WORKS

• Remogliflozin blocks a kidney protein (SGLT2) so extra sugar is passed out in urine
• Metformin reduces the amount of sugar made by the liver

HOW TO TAKE IT
