Uses and Benefits of BILSAURE 40MG TABLET (BILASTINE 40MG)

Bilastine 40mg is mainly used to treat allergic conditions caused by histamine release in the body.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itching)
• Relief of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives, skin itching, redness)
• Seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms

HOW IT WORKS

• It blocks histamine H1 receptors in the body
• This reduces the allergic symptoms like itching, swelling, and redness
• It works quickly and its effect usually lasts for about 24 hours

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used to treat bacterial or viral infections
• It is not a painkiller and does not treat fever
• It is not used for asthma treatment
• It should not be used for anaphylaxis or severe allergic emergencies

How to Use BILSAURE 40MG TABLET (BILASTINE 40MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It is usually taken once a day, at the same time each day
• Take it on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after food, for best absorption
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
