• Reducing frequency of asthma or COPD flare-ups

HOW IT WORKS

• Salmeterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles for easier airflow
• Fluticasone is a corticosteroid that reduces swelling and irritation inside the airways
• Together they help keep airways open and reduce inflammation over time

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for sudden asthma attacks or acute breathlessness (a fast-acting reliever inhaler is needed for that)

How to Use COMBITIDE 100MG TABLET (SALMETEROL + FLUTICASONE + PROPIONATE)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only by inhalation, exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken twice daily, at the same times each day
• Shake the inhaler (if applicable) before use and follow the technique shown by your pharmacist or doctor
• Rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce risk of oral thrush and hoarseness
• Do not exceed the prescribed number of puffs
• Continue using it regularly even if you feel well, as it is a preventive treatment

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE
