Uses and Benefits of ENNHALE NASAL SPRAY (FLUTICASONE FUROATE 0.055% W/V)
This medicine is used to treat nasal allergy symptoms and related conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of sneezing, itching, runny nose and nasal congestion caused by seasonal allergies
- Relief of symptoms caused by year-round (perennial) allergic rhinitis
- Reducing nasal blockage and watery eyes linked to allergies
HOW IT WORKS
- It is a corticosteroid that acts locally in the nose
- It reduces swelling, redness and irritation in the nasal lining
- It blocks release of chemicals in the body that cause allergic reactions
- It provides symptom relief with regular daily use rather than immediate action
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a treatment for the common cold or viral infections
- It is not meant for sudden, severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis)
- It does not treat bacterial sinus infections
- It should not be used as an emergency reliever for immediate symptom relief

- Severe or persistent nosebleeds
- Signs of a hole or damage in the nasal septum (whistling sound, persistent crusting)
- Vision changes, eye pain or blurred vision
- Signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of face, lips, throat or difficulty breathing
- Signs of infection that does not heal (delayed wound healing)

How to Use ENNHALE NASAL SPRAY (FLUTICASONE FUROATE 0.055% W/V)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use only in the nose, as prescribed by your doctor
- Shake the bottle gently before use
- Blow your nose gently to clear it before spraying
- Tilt your head slightly forward and spray into each nostril as directed, avoiding the middle part of the nose (septum)
- Do not spray directly into the eyes
- Use at the same time each day for best results
- Wipe the nozzle clean after each use
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not use double the amount to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
- Discard the bottle after the recommended number of days from first opening, as instructed on the label

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to fluticasone furoate or any other ingredient in the spray
- Have an untreated nasal infection
- Have recently had nasal surgery or nasal injury (unless approved by your doctor)
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Have glaucoma or cataracts
- Have a history of nasal ulcers or nasal septum problems
- Have an active infection anywhere in the body
- Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
- Are taking other steroid medicines, including inhalers, creams or tablets
- Have liver disease
MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT
- Ritonavir and other strong antifungal or antiviral medicines that affect liver enzymes
- Other corticosteroid medicines (oral, inhaled or topical) used together, which may increase total steroid exposure
- Always inform your doctor of all medicines, supplements and herbal products you use
