This composition is mainly used to treat and prevent breathing problems caused by narrowing of the airways, such as in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of sudden breathlessness or wheezing
- Prevention of exercise-induced breathing difficulty
- Long-term management of asthma and COPD symptoms along with other medicines
HOW IT WORKS
- It belongs to a class of medicines called bronchodilators
- It relaxes the tight muscles around the airways (bronchi)
- This widens the airways and allows more air to flow in and out of the lungs
- It acts quickly, usually within minutes, when given through a nebulizer
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a cure for asthma or COPD, only a symptom reliever
- It is not meant for treating infections like cold, cough due to viral illness, or pneumonia

HOW TO TAKE IT
