WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Depression, including persistent low mood and loss of interest in daily activities
• Panic disorder with or without fear of open spaces
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Social anxiety disorder
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• Premenstrual dysphoric disorder in some cases, as advised by a doctor

How to Use SERTA 100MG TABLET (SERTRALINE 100MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day
• It can be taken with or without food, at around the same time each day
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms
• It may take several weeks before you notice full improvement, so continue taking it even if you do not feel different right away

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Herbal products such as St John's Wort
