Tapentadol Hydrochloride is used to manage moderate to severe pain that has not responded well to other painkillers.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of moderate to severe short-term (acute) pain, such as after injury or surgery
• Relief of moderate to severe long-term (chronic) pain, such as pain from arthritis or nerve conditions, when advised by a doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• It acts on the brain and spinal cord to change the way the body senses and responds to pain
• It works through opioid receptors and also affects certain nerve chemicals to give combined pain relief

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Mild pain such as ordinary headache or minor body ache

How to Use TAPEASE NS NASAL SPR (Tapentadol Hydrochloride 22.5mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, no more and no less
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it
• Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Do not increase the dose or stop suddenly without talking to your doctor
• Do not take it for longer than advised
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember, if it is not close to your next dose
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take double or extra doses to make up for a missed one
• If you are unsure, contact your doctor or pharmacist for guidance

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Keep this medicine in a safe place, as it can be misused
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
