Uses and Benefits of TAPEASE NS NASAL SPR (Tapentadol Hydrochloride 22.5mg)
Tapentadol Hydrochloride is used to manage moderate to severe pain that has not responded well to other painkillers.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of moderate to severe short-term (acute) pain, such as after injury or surgery
- Relief of moderate to severe long-term (chronic) pain, such as pain from arthritis or nerve conditions, when advised by a doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- It acts on the brain and spinal cord to change the way the body senses and responds to pain
- It works through opioid receptors and also affects certain nerve chemicals to give combined pain relief
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Mild pain such as ordinary headache or minor body ache
- Long-term use without medical supervision
- Treating anxiety, sleep problems, or as a general sedative
- Self-medication for unexplained or undiagnosed pain

How to Use TAPEASE NS NASAL SPR (Tapentadol Hydrochloride 22.5mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, no more and no less
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it
- Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
- Do not increase the dose or stop suddenly without talking to your doctor
- Do not take it for longer than advised
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember, if it is not close to your next dose
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take double or extra doses to make up for a missed one
- If you are unsure, contact your doctor or pharmacist for guidance

- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
- Keep this medicine in a safe place, as it can be misused
