Uses and Benefits of TOFANTA 15MG TABLET (TOFACITINIB 15MG)
Tofacitinib is used to treat autoimmune and inflammatory conditions where the body's immune system attacks its own tissues, causing pain, swelling, and damage over time.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Rheumatoid arthritis, especially when other treatments have not worked well
- Psoriatic arthritis
- Ulcerative colitis (a type of inflammatory bowel disease)
- Certain other autoimmune conditions as advised by your doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- Blocks enzymes called Janus kinases (JAK) inside immune cells
- Reduces the signals that cause inflammation and immune overactivity
- Helps reduce joint pain, swelling, and stiffness
- Helps control symptoms of bowel inflammation in ulcerative colitis

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually by mouth with or without food

- Try to take it at the same time each day for consistent effect
- Do not stop or change the dose without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better
